1997 Honda Civic, or a 2002 VW Jetta?
2002 VW Jetta GLX 2.8L engine, automatic, 72,000 original miles.but, it has a salvage title. Everything was fixed wants $3k for it. 1997 Honda Civic DX coupe, 187k miles, automatic tranny. Engine was rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago, clean title. Is asking $2600. The VW is a much nicer car, but the salvage title + cost of ownership… Was wondering what would be a good choice for a first car?
VW Jetta is better
2002 VW Jetta is better
Have the VW inspected by a certified mechanic to make sure it is in good condition. Salvage title on older, low value vehicle is not as important as on higher priced or financed vehicles.
- Jeep wrangler vs jetta tdi? I've had my loyal honda for 7 years. Sense it is on its way out I have been looking into different cars. I would like something I can attach a small trailer to and haul my two quads. I've been looking at the 2011 jetta tdi and the 2005 wrangler (4.0). I drive a lot so I prefer something that is good on fuel. I also want to haul my quads. Would the jetta be good?
- I own an 09 jetta wolfsburg? I own an 09 jetta wolfsburg still making payments on it. This is my first german car ever, and i come from driving hondas. I always hear that germans car are terrible. My question is should i get rid of it or keep it? Nothing wrong so far 60k miles barely on dash
- Will a 2003 Hybrid Honda civic bumper cover fit a 2002 honda civic EX? I wan't to get a 2003 honda civic hybrid bumper for my honda civic 2002 ex will it fit? Looks the same just that the 03 has better fog lights
- What's the best Distributor cap and rotor for a 1997 Honda Civic EX? I have to do a tune-up pretty soon for my Honda. I was recommended NGK spark plugs and wires but not the cap and rotor. I'm sure the OEM is ideal but if there's a company that makes caps and rotors much more efficient than OEM then I want to get those to go along with the NGKs. So my question is that is there a company that specializes in Caps and Rotors like NGK is with spark plugs and wires?
