2000 Honda Civic stalls when comes to a stop?
My 2000 Civic stalls out sometimes when I come to a stop. It's completely stock and I think the clutch might need to be replaced, but I'm not sure cuz my only other standard was a 3000GT VR-4 with a stg 2 clutch so a civic clutch is a whole new world to me. I thought it might be the idle air control valve but I also heard it could be the fuel pump as well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Clean out the iac valve. Its free and easy to do. If it isn't that next is go to fuel pump. It wouldn't be the clutch.
- Sometimes the car does not stop when I brake but it feels like it's hard to stop, is this a rotor issue I'm afraid I will rear end someone? It happens every once a while I'll press the brakes and it won't stop like a jumpy feeling is this rotorsrelated? 2001 Honda Passport
- Will starter from an automatic 2000 Honda civic LX fit on a automatic 2000 Honda civic HX? The lx is a 5 gear transmission and the hx is a CVT transmission. With the starter fit? Mine went out on my hx
- 98 honda crv stalls and shakes? For the past 3 days my car goes faster or slower on its own regardless of how far I push the gas petal. It stalls sometimes. After stalling I can turn on the car with no problem. After a few miles it does this again. It shakes a bit also
- Why does my 94 honda civic over heat but the oil light comes on there's no leaks any where? My radiator over heats the hoes swells but there's no leaks no smoke coming from anywhere the water in the radiator bubbles up when I take the cap off I even put some stuff in it to help cool it down didn't work. I checked the oil looks fine no werid color to it at all. Its no really over heating the engine is hotter then what its suppose to be
