2001 Honda Civic What is this wire?
Opened the hood and saw this, don't know how long it was like this but car is running. What is it and what does it do? Can i fix it without electrocuting myself?

Hi so as most cars work with 12 volts and it takes 108 volts before you feel it.
That. Just a ground strap that likely was on the exhaust manifold shield. I'd just clip it off and forget about it.
Its just an earth strap. Try to find where it was fixed to and reconnect.
… And don't worry… It won't electrocute you. I promise!
- If i make a wire harness will it work with out pulse generator and icu on 85 1100 honda shadow? If i just make direct line from stator to rectifier to starter selonoid and coils will it be fine with out the pulse generator and the 2 icm/icu? I want to eliminate a bunchof stuff on it and i was wondering if that could go as well. It was a mess when i bought it i will figure it out if it must stay but i just need to know if it can go because it will be less of a headache if i can keep it going with out it.
- How do I wire a Baja designs speedometer back light on my 2001 honda xr250r? Got 01 Honda xr250r it has a Baja designs kit on it. I just got the Baja designs universal speedometer and it has a two wire bulb socket for the backlight display one power red wire and ground black wire? I will be using quick splice wire connectors so I was wondering which wire do I splice so the bulb in the speedometer will turn on the same time with the running lamp in the headlight?
- What is my remote wire connected to on my Honda civic 2005 head unit? I have an aftermarket head unit and this is the one i have http://www.cartoys.com/cdx-gt570up and i'm going to install a amp and subwoofer and cartoys installed my deck but i just looked at the remote wire that i would connect to the amp and something is already connected to it and i do not know what that is. I believe that the wire color it was connected to was either yellow and white or yellow and green.
- How to wire in a b16a engine into a 1990 civic dx? I have a 1990 Honda civic and purchased a b16a engine. I have basically the entire swap done just having problems with the wiring. I took the d15 engine harness and switched it to mpfi already. But I'm having trouble with the b16 distributor wiring, the intake plugs, and the VTEC.
