2008 Honda Civic LX - Check Engine Light?
I drove my car this morning to work and it was fine. I even gave it a nice 10-15 mins warm up before driving because winter in Wisconsin is terrible. When I finished my shift, I started my car and the check engine light came on. I'm not sure what I should do. I'm thinking of the cold weather, but I'm open to anyone who know cars well. Just need to get this issue over with. I'm hoping it's not a big issue.
A check engine light means a problems has occurred. So take it to your mechanic or Honda dlr and get the code checked and problem fixed before a small problem becomes a big expensive one…
As has been explained here several thousand times before, no one can diagnose these things over a forum. Ever. Get thee to some place that can pull the codes and read them.
- Check engine light, open door light, and batterie light all came on and won't go off? 2000 Honda Odyssey I already had the altinator replaced it a month old. The batterie almost a year old. Would the belt need be changed or something else?
- Does a broken muffler/exhaust cause a check engine light to turn on on a 97 Honda civic? Recently my muffler broke and snapped off my 97 honda civic and a day later my check engine turned on, i just got the muffler welded back on. Was the broken muffler the cause of the check engine light to turn on? Will it turn off now that i got the muffler welded back on?
- 2004 Honda civic ex check engine light? I'm having a code that reads p0 2646 the problems that the car has is when you get to 5000 rpms the vtech doesn't seem to kick in the car kinda shakes so I just et my foot off the gas and slowly get to speed. So just want to know what part or parts to check and possibly what part I need to change. But note that this problem wasn't happening before a head gasket change?
- 2004 Honda civic check engine light on p0128? I took my car to autozone to check the engine light and it gave me p0128 code. It says low coolant or faulty temp sensor. I do a little research and mostly everyone says its a thermostat problem. Which should I believe?
