2018 Honda Civic - Waking up to windows being down?
Last night I turned my car off, heard a weird beep, a red light on the left side of the dash flashed a few times (looks like a theft light although I've never seen it before) then my 4-ways flashed a couple times. This lasted for like 6 seconds then stopped so I proceeded to lock my car and went inside.
I woke up this morning to all four of my windows down. I'm reading online that this has happened to people who have accidentally held their unlock button too long on their fob but I didn't do that last night and it doesn't explain the beeping and flashing lights before I even got out of my car. It's a brand new off the lot 2018 Civic.
Any ideas?
Go to the dealer and find out what is going on with your car. If you have a sunroof, there have also been incidents of them exploding so watch out for that too. And I'm not kidding.
It's under warranty, take it to an authorized dealer and they will fix it for free.
Someone's got a copy of your key fob and they're screwing with you. Don't leave any valuables inside the car!
- Why does my car engine rev up and down? It revs up and down all the way up to 3x rpm and down? Also when i step on the gas pedal it revs up all the way to the top 8x rpm and stays right there even when i let go of the gas pedal. Please anyone who can tell me why this happens? This is a 1995 honda civic by the way
- Rear window 2001 honda civic rear windows only go down 3/4 way down? My brother just bought a 2015 honda crv and his rear windows only go down 3/4 way down. Is this the way honda makes its cars where rear windows only go down 3/ way down electric. Why do they do this? Do other car makers make cars that rear windows don't go down all the way or is it honda. Why does honda do this?
- How much should I pay for a 2018 Honda Civic Coupe SI; it's MSRP is $24,900? I have already talked them down to $24,000 out the door. I wanted $22,000 out the door, is that unreasonable?
- Greasy Honda Civic Windows? I have a 99 honda civic hatch CX, it's a 5 speed with power NOTHING except brakes (it does have cold A/C, thank god). Anyway, I'm getting this terrible grease on the inside of the windows when rolled up and down (worse on the driver's side), very sticky and disgusting, fast orange will take it off with some work but ruins the tint, any idea on what is causing this?
