Welcome to YA Honda forum Grace. We'll need more information about the problem(s). What codes do you have? What have you done? Testing, all of the readings simple like fuel pressure readings, O2 readings etc. It could be anything.
Have you done the smoke test? Seems to me you'll need to spill the beans out about the problems so we can pitch in and giving out proper advises.
Are you mechanically inclined? Or if you're looking for a silver bullet then you'll need to provide all of the information what you've tested and found.
Nobody has seen the problems nor doing any testing on what need to be done so the more information you can give to us, the better advises we can give out or do you want me to look for my magic ball?
Had to say for sure, A sensor could be bad, or ever a coil pack is failing. On a 20 year old car any of these could be bad. Are you sure the plugs and wires are good?
- Will buying a newer mower solve my issue with dying while cutting thicker grass? I have an older 6.5 hp Toro and it dies frequently going through tall or thick grass. I bought a brand new Toro with a 190cc 7.25 ft/lb. Torque engine and it had the same problem, perhaps more so. If I spend a little more money (about $400 more than the new Toro) and get the Honda HRX217VKA will it make a difference? It also has a 190cc engine but I've read that the Honda engines are much better.

It is only when my foot is on the brake. It also runs fine when it is in Park. Help me please! I have already replaced the spark plugs.
