Car's cassette player isn't working. Any other methods to play music from my phone?
Whenever I put any cassette component in my car's cassette player it spits it out immediately after. It spits out my cassette adapter AND a regular cassette tape. Basically, is there still hope I can listen to music from my Galaxy S4 via my car? I have a 1999 Honda Civic, if that helps.
You need an auxiliary cable or an FM transmitter
I have the same problem! Honda crv 2003. The cassette adapter with aux just stopped working one day last week. Spits the cassette out after a few seconds. (Btw the cassette methid works so much better than fm transmitter!)
- How to use my android phone for music in my car? I have a 2007 honda odyssey. The only input I can find in there's the cigarette light input. Does anyone know how I can connect my phone music to the car stereo? I'm guessing there's some sort of adapter or cord I can buy but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for.
- If my 92 honda key isn't working, can I replace just the part where the key goes in, or do I have to do more? They are telling me that with installation, it will be like $300 at least, My friend just had the same problem, but in an much older pick up, but she said they just replaced a small part where they ket goes in?
- Is there any way I can put in an aux cord to play audio if I only have USB ports? I started leasing a 2019 Honda CR-V recently, and the only inputs seem to be USB ports. My friends like passing around the aux cord when we drive places, and though the CR-V does support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, switching between a lightning cable and a micro-USB seems like a hassle (since they have different phone models). I found some USB to aux adaptors online, but the reviews on them say that they can't be used to do what I want.
- My honda civic ex 08 aux isn't working. What can I do? I've tried numerous aux cords, still sounds muffled. So i ordered a new aux port and the same issue is still occurring. What could be the issue? And how much would it cost to bring it in to a shop?
