How to use my android phone for music in my car?

I have a 2007 honda odyssey. The only input I can find in there's the cigarette light input. Does anyone know how I can connect my phone music to the car stereo? I'm guessing there's some sort of adapter or cord I can buy but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for.

You're "not exactly sure" what you're looking for? Let's be honest, you don't have a clue what you're looking for and you apparently don't have a clue how to search the internet either. You'll find that life is easier when you develop problem-solving skills and exercise a little self-help once in awhile. Here, this might help: http://www.cnet.com/...n-the-car/

The cigarette light socket is not an input per say. It is a power source/socket.
If your van has a tape player, then you can use a cassette tape adapter.
If it does not have a tape player, then you can use a FM modulator, or FM transmitter.
Look those up for more information.

  • How to connect my phone to my car? My mom just bought a used mini van ( Honda) I don't know what year. It has a screen where you can control the ac and some other stuff but the radio it's below. It doesn't have a place to put the aux chord or to put a tape, only CDs can be put. I really don't like to drive without music and I hate listening to radio stations.
  • Honda Civic 2013 AUX connection, music change button. Can you When I connect my Phone via AUX cable to the car for music. I can at times change the song by clicking the short cut button on the steering. But something happened and that button now control the volume instead of changing the song. I think I accidentally changed a setting. I liked being able to change songs while driving. Can you help?
  • Car's cassette player isn't working. Any other methods to play music from my phone? Whenever I put any cassette component in my car's cassette player it spits it out immediately after. It spits out my cassette adapter AND a regular cassette tape. Basically, is there still hope I can listen to music from my Galaxy S4 via my car? I have a 1999 Honda Civic, if that helps.
  • Can a Honda dealership get phone recordings? I recently got a starter repaired at Honda. But over the phone my advisor said they are replacing the switch not the starter. Clearly he lied to me over the phone and now I'm stuck spending 500 on the starter and who knows what in the switch. I'm calling corporate Monday. But can they retrieve calls with my advisor?
