Do I need to fix the TPSM light on my 2011 Honda Civic, or can I leave it for now?

It is NOT the tire pressure light (the!). I assume it means one of the sensors are not working, or the system isn't working. I checked my tire pressure and they are all fine. I have no time to bring it to my local mechanic. Can I leave it for now and just check my tire pressure periodically, and bring in the car when I have the time?

Added (1). No reset procedure, I can't ignore it indefinitely because I will need an emission test soon and they won't pass if the light is on.

It's a known problem and you can get a software upgrade for a significant amount of money. Ignore it if you can. Also, check the owners manual. There may be a reset procedure.

Yes. Just like the old days. If your pressures are okay then the light is false. Like Ron says there may be a reset procedure you can do yourself. The sensor batteries should still be transmitting at this age. If a tire tech wacked the sensor then it may be dead.
We lived without these high priced systems before our government said we can't no longer.

Lol its fine just those stupid sensors keep on braking just check the pressure once each 2 weeks and you will be just fine i have the same problem in all of my cars at first i used to change the stupid sensors and i have spent alot of cash on them now i stopped and i just check the pressures every now and then
