If my Honda civic B16 can support a turbo?
I have heard that it may blow the engine. I need some advice. What parts or mods to use so I can turbo it. I'm aiming for 200 KW at the wheels
B series motors are known to be able to hit 300whp with stock internals. But for the longevity of the motor, a piece of insurance would be at the least forged rods, forged pistons, and ARP headstuds. Then you can always turn up the boost for more power later on down the road.
Now if you are just looking for 250whp, then I wouldn't worry so much. Tune is key.
- Should/can I turbo charge my car? Hi! Looking to increase my WHP on my 2002 Honda Civic ex, engine is a d17a2 vtec sohc looking for a cheap priced turbo but a high quality one. Any help? I've looked into supercharging and engine swapping but I'm thinking turbo is the best rout
- Is it wrong if I do NOT support the troops? I think that many of them are not educated enough to be making decisions about other peoples lives. It takes very little to be accepted into the military, I don't think it's something to be proud of at all and we should not be paying for their education afterwards. The military is essentially extremely expensive welfare, most soldiers I ahve met should not be aloud to operate a Honda Civic let alone a point and kill machine.
- How to reduce lumbar support in car?
