For my second car, should I get a Mitsubishi Lancer or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution? (17 years old)?
Basically right now I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX which is my first car. I'm moving to Florida soon and my parents said to stick with the civic for a while and then I'l get something better when my mom's business picks up. I'll e working with her so I'll have money to save up. I was looking at 2007-2013 Mitsubishi Lancers, and my friend came over and told me not to get a "base model" evo and to actually get an Evo. I saw a couple going for 17k in Florida and told him I would save for it. I want to actually save for it, because my parents said they'd help me out in buying another car, but it would be quicker to get a regular Lancer (ES or GTS). I don't know what to choose because I want an Evo but wouldn't mind getting an regular Lancer.
P.S If I was to get a Lancer, I want it to be between 2007-2016, and if I was to get an Evo, it would have to be either an 8, 9, or 10.
Ask your insurance agent first about how much that will cost. Even a base Lancer will probably be more than a Civic. Buying a used Evo is buying a car that has been beat real hard.
- Mitsubishi lancer SE vs Honda accord coupe exl-v6? So my options for my new car are a 2012 Mitsubishi lancer SE with sports package or a Honda accord v6 coupe ex-l. The Mitsubishi has 11k miles, awd, and heated seats but the interior is supposibly cheap and the car isn't as fast from what I hear m The Honda is fwd which isn't the best for the snow in Illinois, slightly less sporty and will be a 08-10 but the interior has luxury and is a pretty quick car. Any opinions on which one to get.
- I'm 16 years old and i'm looking for a car that will last about 5-7 years? The 3 cars i'm most interested in is the 1. 2009 Honda Accord (132k miles) 2. 2006 Acura TSX (140k miles) 3. 2001 BMW 3 Series (162k miles) each are under $10,000. My question is which car do you think will be the best for me? And do you have any other suggestion?
