Honda civic 07 plate Air Con problems?

I have an 07 plate Honda civic, I just had the air con recharge done today. The mechanic says there's no leaks and the gas is staying in but air won't blow cold. The engine is working as it should and the air is blowing but it's staying warm. Does anyone have any suggestions what it can be that's causing the air to stay warm.

Checked your fuses?

Change your mechanic as he obviously knows little about air con. You need to visit a firm that specialises in air con and only air con. The clutch that drives the compressor may not be activating. The compressor may be faulty as may the condenser or evaporator. The associated electrics may also be suspect. An expert is needed or you will just be wasting money on someone's guesswork. See link.

Sell it

I think the thermal expansion valve is stuck open. It would be able to take 134a without the compressor running. Another possible is the temp door not moving.

You need the professional AC tech to fix this.

You need a new compressor or evaporator. Don't use a regular mechanic btw. Go to an auto-electrician for diagnosing a/c issues.

Check if the compressor clutch is turning when the AC is on. Check the pressures with a manifold gauge. Check… See a car AC shop, not a regular car shop.

What kind of "mechanic" did you go to? One of those high school drop outs at Walmart? Go on youtube and watch the video showing the relay for the compressor that goes bad and how to replace it.
