Honda civic ep2 Sport. Wire engine management light to abs?
Basically the abs light is being stuborn even after replacing the sensor that was faulty. It went off at first but then has come back on shorty after. Need to pass the MOT and was just wondering which wires are the engine management and abs that go into the dash so I could maybe wire them together?
The ECU will not like this at all and other lights will come on. If your ABS isn't working then fix it.Look at the wheel bearings. If they are worn or need adjusting that will cause ABS problems as the ring moves too far from the sensor. Not when the wheel is jacked up. Just under load or on corners.
That will not get you through the MOT. The lights will not then work as per the way they should.
Sometimes a fault code will show a sensor fault but replacing it does not cure it as it is either caused by some other problem or the wiring to the sensor is faulty
Sorry you just have to get it fixed.

If the ABS light is on then there's a fault which needs fixing.

I was looking at the Honda Cbr500R and the Honda 600RR. Obviously the super sport has a 100cc bigger engine, but is it a lot faster than the 500R? Even more so than you would expect with the 100cc increase due to gear ratio's etc etc?

I will be using quick splice wire connectors so I was wondering which wire do I splice so the bulb in the speedometer will turn on the same time with the running lamp in the headlight?
