How many ounces of transmission fluid does a 2003 honda civic hold?
I don't know. Just pour it in there until it overflows at the top
2.4 it should be about 5.5 bottles I think.
I'm pretty sure it's the same as my CR-V

You do not need to know. If you are changing the fluid, drain the old fluid in a catch container. Put the same amount of new fluid back. Check the fluid level as stated in the owners manual and top off if required.
Hi so with manual transmission the gearbox will hold about 2000 cubic centimetres or 2 quarts.
I'd just buy 5 quarts of Honda ATF.
Do a drain and fill. Start with putting 4 quarts of ATF in and then run the motor and shift through all the gears. Check the tranny dipstick and top up the ATF when the transmission is at operating temperature. If you don't need the extra quart… Return it.
Make sure you buy the correct ATF if you don't buy it at the dealer. Castrol makes an Import ATF. Read the bottle to see if it is compatible with Honda ATF.
- How many years from the year the motorcycle was built should you hold onto it before the parts become too expensive For example I was interested in buying a 2006 Honda CBR600f4i until I looked up the price of the fairing pieces. Just a small piece of the fairing was over $600. Of course they charge that price because they want you to buy a new motorcycle.
- Where is the automatic transmission fluid dipstick on a 1995 Honda Civic DX 4 door sedan? I was asked to inspect my mother's car before a road trip with her, but I can't find the automatic transmission dipstick. Where is the automatic transmission dipstick located?
- When should a 2012 Honda Civic need its transmission fluid changed, or serviced? The vehicle has 83,000 miles? Lots of highway driving for a three year old car. Drives perfectly, no problems, just trying to look ahead.
- What transmission fluid TYPE does a 2008 Honda Civic lx 1.8l take? Everywhere I search people just give the same generic answer "amsoil atf" "I use synthetic atf" "conventional is just fine" and that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the dextron/Mercon or h rating or specific type of atf these use. I'll be choosing synthetic anyways, just need to know the type (and how many quarts to buy)
