How many pounds can a car have on it and still drive at least 25 mph?

Overloading a vehicle is illegal.
Two major problems involve (1) going uphill and (2) stopping when going downhill. Even then, there's the load capacity of the road and the bridges. When I was a wee lad there was a bridge that was (or at least seemed to be) a good shortcut for heavily laden gravel trucks. The weight limit was 8 tons. A truck with 56 tons sank right through it.
- What's your most and least favorite car brands? State a specific model if you want. Favorite- 3 way tie between Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes. I have a Mercedes C320 and it's very reliable. I also own a Honda but I want to replace it with a BMW X5. I do hate a few of their cars such as the BMW X6 Least favorite- Dodge and Chrysler. Not impressed by their styling and build quality. I also hate Toyota, i know their cars are good but their cars just doesn't impress me
- What are the least and inexpensive things I can do to gain a little increase in my Hondasl's acceleration? My car is an 03 Honda Element awd 4 speed automatic. Off the line, it is pretty peppy for what it is(close to quick but definitely not fast lol) but I want to know what I can do to increase the acceleration off the line and from a dead stop. Tips? No cai please. Better tires perhaps?
- My car is front wheel drive and the rear shocks are leaking will the car last at least two weeks until I can go to a mechanic? My car is Honda 2010 2dr front wheel drive I went to the mechanic yesterday and he told me that rear shocks (not front) were leaking and that I should replace them now or they can cause an accident the thing is he is charging too much and I can get them fixed for cheaper in the city but I'm in college right now and the soonest I can go is in two weeks will my car last that long or is he just trying to scare me into paying As soon as possible the car ride home is like 3hours as well
