How much faster will my 0-60 time be if I remove the engine from my Honda Civic?
I have a 1992 Hatchback and I have the stock engine in it with a cold air intake and a fake blowoff valve and I wanna do some weight reduction by removing the engine. I need to know how much faster I can get it so I can beat Mustangs in the quarter mile more easily than usual. Thinking about removing the chassis when I get more experience.
Remove the driver as well, that's a 130lb weight reduction right thar.
Your car won't move without the engine, unless you're pointed downhill, in which case you stand a good chance at beating a mustang.

Any ideas would be great When removing the nuts holding the recoil starter in place the nut on the front of the starter is stuck. When I try to remove it the whole stud come out of the engine. Leaving the engine cover stuck to the starter preventing me from replacing the rope. I have tried everything I can think of to remove it with no luck.
