How to figure out what size my rotors are? 97 honda civic?
I was told at o'reilys auto parts there are 2 different sizes in break pads and rotors. I believe it was 238Mm and 240Mm. I don't know much about cars so can someone tell me where to find the size of them for a 1997 honda civic Dx Coupe.
Buy both sets then go home and use the set that fits your car. Take the other back for a refund.
I would like them to put out both rotors and see the difference between 2 mm diameter.
Only rotors available are 262mm and 240mm. Your DX uses the 240mm
Edit: if they only have the 238mm it'll work also.
Go to another auto parts store and have the clerk follow you out to the car and look at them. He should be able to tell you. If he can't find someone a few years older in the store and ask him. This is your best bet because if you don't know anything about cars you will need to learn quite a bit to be able to tell for yourself.
might be as simple as 5 lug nuts or 6
