Honda car is leaking oil BAD, help me figure out what's wrong?
Added photos below, what happened? I heard a loud noise she driving and it sounded like I either hit a stone or a part fell off of my car. The images below are all I could see, but all the oil is all over the ground.
You got a hole in your oil tank. Don't drive it

Wipe down everything really good, service the oil and see where the leak is coming from. The oil pan might need replacement. You will need to put the car on jack stands or a lift to make a good inspection.
Neither of those images are very helpful BUT! Do NOT drive the vehicle til a mechanic can inspect it to see what it needs for repair… Either tow the vehicle to a shop or have a mobile mechanic go to where the vehicle is… Hope you didn't drive it after the loud noise
Find out if the oil pressure warning light sending unit is leaking.
- I'm currently working on a Honda crf70f that had some lines cut and now I have to figure out where they came from I'm new to small engines and all that so I have no Idea where this one line goes. It comes from the carb but there's no where for it to go, I have a picture of it.
- Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil? My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil. But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine. What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?
- Is going from synthetic oil in my '03 HOnda Hybrid to regular oil bad? Over 100K miles, always used synthetic oil. Took the car to my mechanic to have brakes checked, and he thought the oil looked dirty so he drained it and put in regular oil. Now I'm concerned about my engine. Advice please? I do not know what kind of regular oil he put in.
- Oil Change: Honda Motor Oil Vs Generic oil, does it make a difference? I have been getting oil changes with Honda motor oil for 15 years on my 2002 civic that now has 132K miles. If I switch to a generic $10 oil change garage shop will it still be ok? I know the Honda filters are better then the cheapest generic ones but how about the actual motor oil?
