Sorry, but it's not possible to diagnose your vehicle on the web; you need to have a mechanic look at it

It's stuffed

If the "D" or "N" shift indicator light is flashing you have an electronic control sensor for the tranny that's bad and need a mechanics $3000 scan tool to read the transmission codes and transmission data.
Have you been getting the valves adjusted every 60,000 miles? Honda's have a common problem with the valves getting tight and most people don't know about it. Have you had the timing belt replaced? The timing belt needs replacing every 90,000 miles. Do the cam and crankshaft timing marks line up?

Pull the OBD2 trouble code for an answer that isn't a quess.

Transmission is likely shot. Replace all the shift solenoids. No joy, junk the car.

Hi just simple wear and tear on the gearbox it has done over the time it was given when manufactured. Original design was for 7 years so this one has covered twice that time. So it owes no one a thing.

Shifter linkage needs adjustment when it won't go into D3. Something is binding when it shouldn't. See a mechanic. An auto transmission is not something you want to break.
