If Facebook doesn't read your messages, why are based on my messenger conversations?
I'm not active on Facebook. I just use messenger to talk to friends. Ads pop up based on my conversations. I even tested it one time by talking about my car (Honda civic) and when I opened up Facebook, there was a car ad for Honda. Does Facebook read messages?
It's computer programs reading then responding as programmed. Do something facebook doesn't like and deleted. Say shampoo and get shampoo ads. It also tracks where you go. You are just a subject to make money off of.
It doesn't 'read' your messages, but the algorithm searches your messages for keywords (like "Honda"), and then targets advertising to you accordingly.
The ads arent controlled by facebook, they are controlled by 3rd parties like google adsense, which reads your temporary internet files, which have all of that information in them - so technically they arent "reading your messages" they are just "detecting content" so they can advertise to you more effectively
but also keep in mind that when you use facebook messenger, all your messages get sent thru the facebook server, which also stores all of that information - it's not like SMS where it's a more direct connection…
if you want privacy, then stop using the internet
Facebook Reads your Cookies and then Display's Advertisements Based on your Cookies so what you Write and where you go on the Internet you may see Advertisements about it on the Side of the Page there's no way around it
Its automatic add by the keywords, but people from FB is not reading your chat…

I'm posting cars in different groups where they advertise cars and also in the market place, and every time i post a car i get about 4 messages about the car. I can never seem to get them to come in the store though, and its frustrating! - How to read spark plugs over time? I know how to read spark plugs but over time, would a reading be accurate? Have a Honda whose spark plug is maybe 2 years old, would its reading still be similarly accurate as if it was only after a first good week of use? Stock everything, the porcelain is black, I'm upjetting now with a aftermarket exhaust and filter, should I upjet with if the porcelain is black? With the length of time? Should I try a new reading with a new plug? (Already installed one)

I took out an $800 title loan on my 2000 Honda Oddyssey (188,000 miles) and I can't make the initial repayment amount of $288 on time. How long will it be before they send someone out to repossess my car? I live in Ohio and I'm really afraid they will repossess it before I can come up with the cash.
