Is a car intake bad or good for your car?
I need experts to answer this. Can't find a straight answer online. I have a 2012 honda civic si and want to get a k and n cold air intake only if it is not bad for my car and gives me better gas mileage. Will it give me better mpg? My dad said not to get because the japanese engineers know the optimal amount of air my engine should be getting and believes it will entually ruin my valves. Any info is thanks.
Well, it shouldn't do anything bad to your vehicle for sure. The main purpose of air intake is to improve airflow and increase horsepower and torque on your vehicle. K&N intake kit replaces the factory intake system with much better functioning.
- How long does it take for loan max to repossess your car after your loan due date in Ohio? I took out an $800 title loan on my 2000 Honda Oddyssey (188,000 miles) and I can't make the initial repayment amount of $288 on time. How long will it be before they send someone out to repossess my car? I live in Ohio and I'm really afraid they will repossess it before I can come up with the cash.
- If your car was starting to have a lot of mechanical issues (see details), would you go for repairs or buy a new or good used car? My 2002 Honda Civic is suddenly having a lot of problems - SRS dash light always on, AC doesn't work, squeaking and thumping underneath on front passenger's side and brake pedal, and passenger side mirror is loose.
- How to know if your module thingy is out in your distributer in a 1995 honda civic? Just wanted to know the possible signs or things your car would do if the Distributer wasn't working right.
- How do you increase your MPG on your car? I got 60mpg in my Honda Civic recently for 100 miles by coasting downhill and increasing air in tires by 5psi. How do you do it?
