Just got my licence, was wondering what would be a good first car?
The bad part is, I only have a $3,000 limit, I can save up more. But I live 25 miles outside of town, so I need a car to get to work. Based on the fact I live 25 miles outside of town, I would like something with good mpg. Every car I've been able to find has a stick shift, salvage title, or 200K+ miles. I'm just stuck on what I should be looking for. I don't want one of the beat up Honda civics that somebody lowered. And if possible, I was thinking about looking for a 68-73 Nova. But I doubt I'll find one running for that price.
Any ideas?
1998 and up crown vic. Most have low mileage. Insurance will be cheap. You can seat 5 people with NO room complaints. Big trunk and gas mileage is great on highway ok in town. Stay away from former police cars because they are beaten to hell.
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Taking my car into the shop for the first time (my first car and first time at a shop)? Recently acquired a 1999 Honda Accord for $1500 with only 160k. Runs great but my dad checked car and said oil is low and then proceeded to check the rest of the car and said all my fluids need to be replaced. What does that mean and what is the price for fixing this? I want to go to the shop with some sort of understanding of the prices so I know if I'm being ripped off or not.
- I just got my 2001 honda accord completel repaired for $600 is that good? I had the transmission rebuild(automatic) New motor mounts New radiator fans All leaks sealed New hoses And its running like new again
