Light click when engaging clutch?

I have a 2002 honda civic and when I first push in the clutch pedal it makes a small click, but only when I engage it at first, is this anything serious? What could it be

It could be a relay switch. On some manual transmissions, you can't start the car unless you are stepping on the clutch. When you step on the clutch, it triggers a relay switch with allows you to engage the starter.

IF IT IS A HYDRAULIC CLUTCH, THAT MAY BE SIMPLE END PLAY OR CLEARANCE IN THE LINKAGE. IT SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM AT ALL.

Does it sound like its coming from inside the car? If not it could be a bad throwout bearing or thrust bearing. Or possibly a broken tooth on the pressure plate. You won't know until you remove the clutch
