Maaco vs Pro Body Shop for cosmetic damage?
My car is a 2005 Honda Civic Coupe. I have a very large dent in my passenger side door panel and also a few dents on the panel behind it. I was going to take it to Maaco, but am not sure the quality of their paint matching etc. I could take it to a certified body shop but its a lot more expensive. My main question is this… How well does Maaco match paint and how good is their work? My car is a magnesium metallic gray, so its a unique color if you look at it carefully, its not just a matte gray.
Is it best to leave the pro shops for the major collision damage and just take it to Maaco for the cosmetic damage?
Added (1). Basically, I need to have the entire door skin replaced and paint matched…
Oh Oh… Don't take it to Maaco!
Neither. Both Maaco and Pro Body auto body chain stores have an awful reputation. Look for a reputable independent auto body shop in your area for your best quality and best priced options. They can easily be found on yelp.com.

- If I buy a Certified Pro-owned Honda from a Toyota dealership, is it still CPO and under warranty? The CPO Honda warranty is for 1 year/12,000 miles from date of purchase, but I bought it from the Toyota "side" of the same dealership. Honda still has to honor the warranty, right?
