My car overheated does it still have life?

My car overheated due to a water/antifreezer leak. My car stopped and lots of smoke was coming off. I'm 15 years old. At first the car would just revv. I placed some oil since it didn't have any and the car start it up again. White smoke still comes out thru the antifreeze place. And the exhaust lots of white smoke. My car is a 2004 honda civic dx. But I was wondering does my car still have a chance of surviving? When i started it up it went a few feet and stopped again. So i decided to leave it for the night. Can it survive or does anybody knows what's wrong with it?

Do you have the tools and skills to take the head off? Sounds like head gasket or cracked head or block ect as its pouring white smoke out the exhaust. Most likely the end of that car if you can't fix it yourself most likely for the same money as fixing it you could buy something else. Pressure test the cooling system is where I'd start trying to work out weather the head gasket is gone

You're driving a car and are not even 16 and have a drivers license? You need to repair the antifreeze leak and put a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and water back in the radiator. DON'T use just water. That will cause the motor to rust inside and it plugs up the radiator and causes over heating again.

You need to take autoshop at school so you can work on your car. It could take expensive measures- around $2000 or more to fix it and most of that is labor costs. It could be a good time to start talking to your parents again. You need help with this.
