That is so annoying i mean why hide your cars brand it makes no sense now it would be cool to have a custom car and put a really nice logo like lambo, Jaguar, Audi etc but a honda for an acura is really not much difference.
Because Acura Is owned by honda, it's not about shaming the Acura brand it's about showing the JDM side, see I don't know what car you're talking about specifically but nearly all Acura cars have a Honda JDM( Japanese domestic market) version. Usually when someone does the emblem swap on the car they are aspiring to make it resemble the jdm version more. Examples. Acura RSX= Honda Integra DC5, Acura TL= Honda Accord and ect. It's all about a different style and taste. Personally I would love to take an Acura RSX and make It look like a DC5 ITR. Look up my examples and you will understand a little better.
- Why does Honda use an english 'H' as the emblem instead of a Japanese 'H'? Hondas were invented in Japan, so it would make sense to use the Japanese letter H. But instead they use the english letter H. Its as if Honda sold out or something. Why do they do this? And do you think that decision to do so is offensive in anyway?
- What is the most reliable car you've ever owned and how many miles did you put on it? Mine was Honda Passport with 250,000 miles bought brand new. Yeah I know it was rebadged Isuzu Rodeo but it was surprisingly reliable with no major problems.
- What vtec or honda/Acura motor can I put in my car? I have a 1998 Honda civic DX coupe, 1.6 4 cylinder. I love this car to death, but I want a little more pep… So I wan a vtec motor for it, but i don't know what will fit or what to look up? Does anyone have any ideas?
- Did you know that Philippines is so poor that if you own a car people will think you're rich? I live in the Philippines and I own a 2013 Honda Fit and I sometimes drive it when I go to the University, it's not even expensive. And my friends think I'm rich. Most people here only use underbone motorcycles for transportation, most families don't even own a car.
