Should I buy a Honda with almost 150k miles on it?
I found a 2006 Civic with 144k miles selling for $5,200.
If thats all you can afford, sure. But if you're just being cheap, that is a lot of mileage.
5200 is way too much for that. The mileage doesn't really matter, i have a civic with 300k miles on it and it runs like new. Just take care of it.
Maybe. Have it checked by a mechanic first. Then you'll if it's worth buying.
Too much money for too much wear and tear. 150k miles is usually where Honda's start having expensive issues.
GEt your mechanic to check it first.
- Is it worth it to trade a 2003 Toyota Corolla almost 130k miles for a 2004+ Acura TL 90k-110k miles? This is my moms old car and she got the Honda Pilot, she gave it her old car to me as my first car, but I want to trade it for a nicer car but used Acura are expensive and every time I asked the sellers to trade my Corolla and says no. Do you think Acura owners don't like Toyota?
- Is it weird to wear cloth brands like versace, gucci etc and drive a car around 70k-150k range? I know wearing those brand and driving like a honda, toyota etc would look weird, but is cars like mercedes, bmw ok? Or does it have to be something higher like maserati, ferrari, lambo, aston etc?
- I have a 1998 Honda CRV with 240 K miles. Needs $1200 of repair to pass inspection. Should i fix or buy a newer used Honda civic? Mike? I'm the original owner and have done a good job with oil changes etc. However, it needs 2 front control arms with ball joints and rear struts to pass inspection. I've also gone past my mileage on a second timing belt (first one done at 90K miles). Car body exterior and interior is in pretty good shape. Inside looks brand new. But repair cost at 1200 + timing belt ~500 =~1700 in repars. Is it time for a newer used auto.
- Should I buy a 2008 honda civic ex-l that has 100000 miles or a honda civic lx that has 82k miles? The honda civic ex-l has only one owner and the honda civic lx is from a dealer. They're fairly the same price
