Should I buy this car?

Basically I'm looking to upgrade from my current car to something more reliable. My budget is $4000 and I came across a 2007 Civic Coupe LX(Manual Transmission) for $3500. It has 173k miles on it and that concerns me but I know it's a Honda and all. I ll mostly be using it to commute from college. I ll be putting about 700 miles per month off of commuting but I also baby my cars. Anyways should I pull the trigger and buy it if the car seems alright?

Clutch would be suspect, unless it has been redone.

I wouldn't buy it with someone else's money. Too much mileage, especially if it doesn't have complete and impeccable maintenance records since new. You can do better for $4k.
