What are some good 4 door sports cars out there?
I would like to get a new car sometime this year, I currently own a car with 100hp when it came out of the factory in 98. I was looking at Honda Civic SI Sedans but I want some other options. I would like it to be decent on gas but more importantly I want it to be reliable and easy to work on (to keep repairs low) I would love a Si but everyone and their grandma has one, and I kinda want to stick out.
Thanks!
Added (1). I also read about a 2005 Lincoln LS but I'm not sure how reliable they are
Nothing is easy to work on anymore. Sports cars are not 4 door cars. If you don't want a Civic, take a look at a Camry. If that doesn't suit you, the other options are less reliable, but might suit your style- a 1966 Ford Falcon with a 289 V8… Oh, what were those options you wanted? Lincolns are not reliable. Civics are popular because they're reliable and sporty. How would you like a Solara?
No sports car is 4-door. If you want sporty looking 4-door sedans, look at Kia and Hyundai.
Clark Howard has recommendations on his site www.clarkhoward.com
The only real four door sports car that works is the Dodge Charger. But don't look at any Charger unless it's a V8 Hemi.
Depends on how much money you have. If you want to stick out you have 2 options: spend $1,000,000 on an exotic car, or modify it yourself.
BMW 3 series(328/325/330) are pretty reliable for a german luxury car. Parts are expensive but if you're good with tools and are willing to learn just a little bit you can easily save thousands on repairs. Stay away from the tubro models. They have issues.
Civic Si is a decent car to modify and make stand out.
- Why are there no more sports compact cars anymore? I remember in the 90s they had small compact cars like the Acura Integra and Honda del sol and Toyota mr2. Why won't they make them anymore?
- What are some sites where people rent out their own personal cars? I'm thinking of one, but I forgot the name of it. You'd have a list of people renting their cars out in your area. You could rent anything from a 15yo Honda with a manual trans to newer Teslas and BMWs. Any similar rental services?
- What are some good cars that either already have mods or are just sporty in general? Nothing above 5k? And yes i have look at all the sporty hondas and i like them, but i want a V6 casue their faster than V4s stock. but yeah like give me some websites or car names to look up on craigslist.
- What are some good and reliable sports cars by these brands? I'm looking to buy a sporty type car from one of the more reliable brands. From what I've heard, Toyota, Honda, Acura, and Hyundai are pretty solid. By good and reliable i mean which cars hold their value the longest, which cars are the least expensive to fix if something did go wrong, etc. I'm just looking for a basic list of some good cars that cost less than 20,000. Obviously not looking for brand new cars
