What can be causing this noise in my car?

I have a 2008 honda civic si, when i make sharp turns at a decent speed i hear a noise of metal that seems to be grinding. Sometimes while I'm just cruising i hear it as well, and it SOUNDS as if its coming from the wheels, not the engine.

Also, one time, there was a HORRIBLE noise that came from my right tire that sounded like metal was making FULL contact with my break disc, but my breaks are still good. Any idea what this could be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Could be wheel bearing, stuck caliper, CV joint, etc.
It is a little new for any of these to be happening, but it can happen.
Check for heat, looseness, or put it up in the air and feel.

If you're misusing it, like most Honda civic owners go it could be your axle.

This is a CV joint problem. Have it replaced as soon as possible, as this can cause more damage to the drive shaft and wheel bearing.

Drive shaft wearing, wheel bearing wearing, check those out.
