What parts are needed to put an a/c system into a 2000 honda civic dx? - 1
Can someone list every part I would need. The car was manufactured without an a/c. No parts at all. What will I need?
Are you going to pay me for the time taken to download the parts manual read it & list EVERY component needed? Half a day's pay may be enough.
Seriously contact the manufacturer they may have a kit for retro fitting - if not next best bet is to buy a wreck with one & strip it out.
Odds are it will cost you considerably more than the car is worth just for the parts.
Installing A/C on an 18 year old car? Not worth it.
Honda is one of the few manufacturers that sells A/C kits for retrofitting on their vehicles. Check with them first but then again, I doubt they will still have it available for such an old vehicle.
