What's something I can use to track my car?
Over the past year, 5-6 cars have been stolen around my city.
It is said that the most common type of cars stolen are old Hondas, Acuras, and Toyotas, for car parts.
Unfortunately, a close friend just got his car stolen. Can't find it.
I, myself, have an old honda that has accessories. I'm not saying it looks so good someone is going to steal it, but I have stock parts except my stereo, so it can be easily be stolen and sold for parts, due to it being an old Honda civic.
Is there anything small, maybe around phone size or smaller than I can setup and hide in my car, so if it gets stolen, I can easily log into a website or an app, and track my car? I'm not looking for like a big expensive tracking system, I'm going to hide it on the inside of my dashboard
They have tracking devices you can mount onto the obd2 reader plug in your car they ranger from $30- $200, just Google it my friend
Use a GPS enabled tracking device.
Why would you want to find the car AFTER it is stolen? Would you like to come face to face with the thieves? Why not put in something to disable the thing? Even a steering wheel lock will make most thieves move to a easier car.
Just as nihm says, you can use a phone tracking app like plan b, find my android and mobile spy etc instead.

- If in the owners manual it says I should use 5W-20 motor oil, can I use 10W-40 motor oil instead? I have a 2009 Honda Fit. I just recently bought 10W-40 and when I got home to put oil in the manual said 5W-20. What's the difference? And is it okay if I still use the 10W-40?
- If I drop something into the engine bay, can I unscrew the bottom of the car to get it? I dropped something into the engine bay and can hear it landed onto the bottom. On the bottom of the car is a metal sheet. I can't squeeze under my car, but I can feel there are screws down there. Do you think I can unscrew one side of the metal sheet (the side closest to the front bumper), bend open the metal sheet slightly, and poke a stick into it to retrieve what I dropped? I have a 2017 Honda CR-V.
