What's wrong with my transmission? - 1

I got a 2007 Honda civic its a automatic btw. When I shift into drive my car won't go forward and when it's in reverse it won't go back and if it's in park it makes this loud clicking sound like gears are roughly rubbing together or something and it leaking too but there are no light that show up on my dashboard saying anything is wrong. The only way my car is moving is if some one is pushing it. I don't know what's going on but I think it something with the transmission. I was told it could be a snapped tooth or a blown ring whatever that means and i don't know how much it will cost so if anyone has any idea of the cost or what's going on it will be appreciated

If your has a CVT transmission, it is likely broken. Check the fluid level and see a transmission garage.

Sounds like all the transmission fluid leaked out and now the internals of the transmission are trashed because they ran without fluid for who knows how long. As as cost goes it's not good news, labor to remove and replace a transmission from a car like yours ranges from $1000-$2500 and finding a replacement used transmission from a junkyard is $300-$500 or buying a re-manufactured transmission is about $1500 which will likely last longer than a used one and have a longer warranty. Your looking at a very big repair bill or buying a new vehicle. Tow it to a Honda dealer or your favorite independent shop to let them tell you the final verdict, if they say you need a new transmission and you want to keep the car I would contact other independent shops to see if one will want to find a used transmission and replace it for a decent price and get you back on the road.

Have you checked the fluid level? That may be all it is.

Start pricing rebuilt transmission for you vehicle. You need one.

Have you checked to see if the shifter cable is broken or stretched to the point that you are not actually shifting anything when you move the shifter? Sometimes you can see that the shift indicator is not moving all the way to "D" or "R", etc.
