Why does my gas pedal feel heavier?
I have a 1999 honda civic si and i noticed sometimes when i'm driving it on some days that my gas pedal feels a bit heavier and has a little resistance and my car does not accelerate quickly like it used to when this happens. What may be the cause?
Cables could be dirty. Throttle plate could be dirty.
The throttle cable might need adjusting or its mounting bracket is loose. The cable may need a replacement if wore out or like Ron A has said: Clean the throttle plate.
I would give the throttle cable a complete inspection from the pedal connection to the TB connection. Cable is cheap and easy to replace. HTH
- Why is my clutch pedal staying on the floor and doesn't spring back up? I have a 92 Honda Prelude Si and I just changed the clutch on it. But now my clutch pedal has no pressure, I'll press the pedal and the pedal will stay down but won't spring back up at all. I already changed the Slave Cylinder. What's going on?
- My Honda S2000 Clutch pedal thumps as I press down on it as if it gets stuck for a quick second. Why? I think it got worse, not when I try to Press all the way down on the gas on the free way to go fast, the RPMs shoot way faster and the MPH moves very very slowly? Any ideas?

The Honda xl 250 says it weighs 130 kilograms and the Moto Roma 125 says it only weighs 115 kilograms, the things is the Moto Roma is without a shadow of doubt heavier by a good bit than the Honda. Is the book for the Moto Roma lying or something else.
