Why does my honda Civic heater just blows somewhat warm air?
I have a 98Civic Lx and the heater use to work great about a month ago it use to blow hot air to when it would be to hot but now it just blows warm air but mostly cold what can be the problem, the fuses are good!
Hi chances are the heater matrix has a leak so as it costs an absolute fortune to replace it the car usually ends up being scrapped.
Check the coolant level.
Check for debris in the heater air intake.
Coolant level could be low
Thermostat may be stuck open.
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- Why does AC quit cooling on 2011 Honda CRV? Seems to be working fine- then hot air? The wife complained yesterday- so I checked ut. Its has freon in it. Pressure check was in the green. Blowing cool. Again today she calls- it started blowing hot air again. Could it be something beside the compressor?
- What is a good and somewhat fast car under 5k? I'm looking for a decent car that won't cause me too much trouble like breaking down or bad mpg. And that it has some speed in it not necessarily looking for a FAST car. But also don't want a car like a Honda civic or an integra or something like that. Maybe something more like a mercury Milan, a cts, mazda 3, etc. But yeah any cars you can think of would be great!
- My 07 Honda civic type r a/c is blowing warm air out. I've had it regassed at halfords? When I start the ac I hear the fan start and the click. The wheel is spinning the fan is spinning the blades look good condition. Anything else I can check myself with out taking it to the garage.
