Does honda crv has filter air cleaner?
Does honda crv has filter protection incase junk from tree falling ontop winshield or front trunk?
Yes, it's called "Cabin air filter" and if I'm corrected Honda CR-V vehicle start to have this cabin air filter since 1996 (the first model sold in N America). Wow! What year for your CR-V? It should be replaced every year or so. Buy it from your local auto art stores.
This is how to replace it (2002-2006 model): I'm guessing for your model year, other is similar in location:
The cabin air filter runs about $19. In most Hondas it's located behind the glove box. You open the glove box, then squeeze the prongs at the top to allow it to swing downward further and access a door behind, where the cabin air filter is located.
Yup it do!
- I have a 2015 Honda rancher that had a crack in the air box. It got so much dirt through the air filter it got into my piston. So it now Burns oil and I was wonder will it ever stop smoking. I know I have to rebuild the engin so don't even say it. And how long will it take before it losses power.
- I have a 1980 honda cb650 custom, are air filter pods a good idea? I was thinking of taking out the air box and filter and putting on individual filter pods on the carbs what are the pros and cons of this and what pods do i need particularly for a 1980 honda cb650 custom? Links would be helpful
- Why does AC quit cooling on 2011 Honda CRV? Seems to be working fine- then hot air? The wife complained yesterday- so I checked ut. Its has freon in it. Pressure check was in the green. Blowing cool. Again today she calls- it started blowing hot air again. Could it be something beside the compressor?
- Is it safe to put a K&N air filter in a 2012 Honda Civic? I understand the new Honda Civics have a lot of technology in them and I wanted to know if a filter like that would interfere with the computers or the performance of the car. This is regular Civic, not an Si.
