Engine oil for a Mitsubishi Outlander 2013?
I know the recommended oil for my Mitsu is the 10W30 (The dealership's mecanic told me). It only have 14k km and soon I will need an oil change. I live in panama so the average Temp would be anywhere from 75-100+ F. I want to try a 0W-30 because the engine is way to noisy compared to my Honda CRV.
Your Outlander, specs 0W-20, here in the USA, in Arizona that's what Id use… There's techs here still stuck in the dark ages. Oils have come along way since the early 90's.
- 2004 Honda Pilot! I did an oil change today check the manual for the engine oil capacity, it is 4.8 liters and put 4.4 liters and add .5 ltr? Total engine oil put is 4.9 liters and I'm surprised the dipstick is above the second hole by 10mm. Is it overfill or do i need to remove some?
- What oil filter to use for a 2013 Honda Odyssey? I like the idea of using a really good one like Mobil1 Extended Performance or Purolator Boss, but would those be too restrictive for my engine?

- Accidentally Took out the wrong engine cap in my Motorcycle while trying to drain the Engine Oil? My Motorcycle is a Honda XRM. I was trying to change engine oil but opened a different screw/cap just beside the engine oil drain.A 5 inch long spring and a rod with holes came out, i put it back the way i think it should be, then opened the Drain cap, drained the engine oil and filled it with new oil. But when i start the motorcycle it sounded like there's something loose moving inside the engine. What is the rod and spring that came out? Is it critical?
