I don't think so. However it will probably cost the same or even less to have the shafts and joints fitted as opposed to removing and refitting the CV joint. Less labour as it will be much quicker.

CV joints are part of the axle shaft assembly and it makes no sense to separate them from the shaft since the extra labor costs more then getting a whole new assembly

When they need to replace the driveshafts, THAT INCLUDES THE CV's. The drive shaft is just a steel rod so no moving parts. The CV has the moving parts and the boots. It is sold as a unit. No one just does a single CV joint. Too time consuming.

Each driveshaft includes the inner and outer CV joints.

The perishable part of the axles are the CV joints. I doubt anybody replaces the CV joints separately. I replaced the axles in my daughter's 2008 CR-V last month but it was an FWD model. I have looked at estimates for doing the same on the AWD version and it appears prices between $2000 and $3000 are standard. That makes little sense to me (most of the added price is in materials) but I was still relieved to do the FWD version. About $200 for the pair of OEM axles from NAPA and a few hours because I don't have a lift. The ball joints unbolt, making the job unusually easy.

Just an FYI: I recommend new OEM, not reman, axles for the CR-V not only because of quality problems with remans, but also because the axles are known to fracture. It is not common but several have been reported to NHTSA and an owner recently asked if his CR-V was the only one with a broken drive axle. I didn't understand until I found the axles are rods, not tubular axles. The rods can simply break in two.

Just buy new axle half shafts. There have been a lot of problems noted on my tech line about after market axles causing bad vibrations and only factory axles should be used. Don't buy them from Rock Auto. They are undersized and won't hold up.
