Lost my honda crv keyless entry remote?
Were can I buy replacement besides dealer?
Since you did not specify the Year for the CR-V so I have no idea what exactly what you'll need. If the fob is separate from the key then you'll need to buy the key fob and program it yourself. If the key and key fob is one unit then you will have to get a new key cut. This site will help to see what you'll need to buy:

There are shells with uncut keys listed for sale. Although some don't appear to have the actual Honda logo on the back, they are the proper shape/size. The only ones I saw for sale with the actual logo also come with the remote tiny circuit board, but it doesn't cost much more. One of the ads specifically mentions that you can't use your old key, and must get a new one cut. It says, "We get this question every day… No other way around it."
For your information: This site is one of so many on the Web:

or:

Then you'll have the key fob program for the keyless entry to work. If you have other key fobs then all of them has to be program at the same time. In other hand, the key itself has to be programmed also so the security system will recognize the chip inside the key.
This link will show you how to. There are separate procedure for different year, look for the right one on this site:

So buy the uncut key fob (Which ever you choose) then your cheaper option is call for a locksmith, explain to him that you have the uncut version key fob and he will cut the new key, reprogram all key fobs and take care of the security system re-programming. Ask before hand if he does all those thing, including "Laser" cut the new key.
Of course, your only option left is the dealer with more to pay. Do not buy the replacement until you work out your option with a locksmith or calling the dealer first as I've seen some prefer to use their part. Good luck to you. E mail if you need more help or have more questions. HTH

Try go to the store you purchased it from
You can try amazon or eBay. Only thing is you'll have to find instructions on how to program it.
- 2014 honda civic keyless remote programming? Ok so I guess I have 2 questions in 1. First is it possible to program a replacement keyless entry remote if I've never had one since I got the car? In other words there's no original id be programming the first one. And 2 is it possible to program the remotes from my 2003 honda pilot which I don't need anymore to my 2014 civic?
- My honda 2001 honda 400ex started smoking and lost alot of power? It smokes pretty badly like a 2 stroke and doesn't have power like it used to. Could it just be the head gasket it does have a litte oil around it? Or could it be more serious valves and rings?
- Lost back of remote access case? So the round battery won't stay in it, Honda says a new remote access device will cost over $300! Is there any way I can keep the battery in there so it will work on my car? I tried tape but it's not working. Thank you. I just looked at an ad for a universal remote device for $49.00 at Walmart but it doesn't work with Hondas.
- How to turn a car radio on without turning on the keyless ignition? I bought a 2015 honda civic that has a keyless ignition system. As it only has one button to start/stop the car, I can't figure out how to turn the radio on without turning on ignition. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated
