Do leave your car running when you wash the motor on a 95 honda?

That'd make it REAL easy to find a vacuum leak, since water would get "sucked in", instantly turn into a much larger volume of steam, and the crack your engine block RIGHT where the leak was, LOL!

I wash my engine all the time and I shut mine off just use air (pressurized) to blow off electrical system and wires. "Do not get CPU, EMC ect. Wet"

Do not wash the motor. You can have it steam cleaned by a professional. If it is so grimy it needs cleaning, there are oil leaks attracting and holding grime. Fix the leaks after you clean the engine so yo can seem where it's leaking from.

  • What to do when you leave a note when you hit a car in the parking lot? So my sister was learning to drive in my car she doesn't have a license and I don't have insurance. She hit the side of a parked Honda where I live. I left a note with my name, number, time, and that she was learning how to drive, I don't have insurance and that I would pay for the damages. They contacted me two days later saying hi, you left a note on my car about hiring my car. How should I respond?
  • How long does it take for loan max to repossess your car after your loan due date in Ohio? I took out an $800 title loan on my 2000 Honda Oddyssey (188,000 miles) and I can't make the initial repayment amount of $288 on time. How long will it be before they send someone out to repossess my car? I live in Ohio and I'm really afraid they will repossess it before I can come up with the cash.
  • How can you make your car very shinylike the cars at the motor show? All the cars including family cars like Honda and Toyota at motor shows are very shiny and look nice. How can you make your car like that? Do you need to use any special paint? What is it called?
  • Do you need someone to start your car when you go on vacation (winter)? One of my roommates is going on vacation for a week and has asked me to start up their car and let it run for 10 minutes every day. I think they are worried about their battery? It is winter, 30 degrees F, some snow on the ground. It is a regular 2015 Honda sedan. I've never heard of this and tried to find some articles but am not finding clear answers. Is this necessary or beneficial to the car?
