I have a 1990 Honda Civic ex, would a D17A SOHC Vtec Engine fit and what is a long block motor?
Added (1). I also found a B16A Vtec DOHC 3rd Gen OBD2 Engine B16 Motor. I just want to know if these will fit
A B or D series swap for a 88-91 Civic can be done without too much difficulty.
- Would a d16y8 head fit in a d16z6 block? I have a project 97 honda civic ek hatch that doesn't run cause the block is wiped out i found a d16z6 engine to buy but i don't want to rewire stuff so i'm wondering if the d16y8 head would fint on top the z6
- Would a 1990-2001 Acura transmission fit into a honda civic? I'm trying to swap automatic transmissions because the civics transmission blew out. I have these transmissions to choose from: 1990-2001 Acura Integra1998-2003, Acura TL type s, and Acura CL type S. All of it is automatic. Any answers are appreciated I need to decide fast It is a 1995 honda civic.

- Sell this car or keep it? I have a 2008 honda civic with 150k miles. Recently, it had a cracked engine block? Honda honored the extended warranty and fixed this at no cost to me. I now have a brand new engine with no miles on it. Is this the start of several repairs, and should I sell it? Or should I keep this car?
