Suggestions for finding lift for scooter. Into Honda Fit hatchback?

I need to find a lift to get my Pride Go-go scooter into the back area. Local dealers all tell me it's impossible. Manual says that with 2 people in car, you can carry 550 lbs of cargo. Scooter only weighs 100 lb. Lifts I've seen weigh from 35 lbs and up. What am I missing?

Added (1). They're saying the hitch weight is only 100 lbs. I realize the scooter would need to be broken down (seat off which is simply) otherwise the size of the scooter is not a problem.

What damage is possible from a construction cone riding under the front portion under the car?

I was traveling doing about 55 mph and could not swerve to avoid hitting a construction cone. It hit under my car and dragged until I could pull over and pry it loose. I could not see too well under the car.

Best car for mpg for new driver with budget?

I'm looking to finance a car and my first choice of car was a honda civic. I've heard over the past few years that honda civic offers the mpg. However, recently a few of my friends have been saying that hyundai and toyota have surpass the honda civic. After my own researche i found that the 2010 honda civic hybrid was the top for mpg within budget. I'm looking for the best mpg i can get within reason and within budget. I don't think ill settle for a honda fit so honda civic might be where i'm heading. Any advice?

Turbo for a 5.9 24 valve will if fit and should I do it?

Remote start = light fail?

I have a 2013 Honda fit. About a week ago I went to a company to have a remote start installed on my car. A few weeks later, the upper blinker on the passenger side went out.

Could this be a short caused by installing the remote start, or are they completely unrelated things? The car is barely 3 years old, certainly not old enough to be burning out lights already?
