Will a honda shadow 750 motor fit in a shadow 600 frame? - 1
YES! All you need is a Saws-All, some bushings, an arc-welder, a different swing-arm and if all goes well we'll see down the road. (why I ride Triumph, All their engine fit, no matter the Model or Year, LOL!)
Not without "help".
As I've said many times before, you can make almost anything fit almost anything else, if you have the skills, knowledge and experience to make all the neccesary modifications (or, you can afford to pay somene who can).
The real question is, do you?
Actual year of engine, actual year of frame needed to figure out how much cutting/welding might be required. Later models tended to have frames and engine mated, the old motorcycle industrial practice of one frame for a couple different engine sizes, model variations no longer applies usually.
Bolts right up.
The 600 VLX is a completely different softail style frame. That 750 will only go in after much modification. For the same money you could simply fabricate a new frame. Or buy one used.
- What is the max speed in each gear for a 2009 Honda Shadow Spirit 750? I can't find any details, even from Honda, what the maximum speed in MPH is for each of the 5 gear ratios on my 750 Shadow. Also, what is the engine redline? No factory tach and no details on what the engine is capable of turning.
- What is the difference between a 2003 honda shadow 600 and 650? What are the differences between a 2003 honda shadow 600 and 650, I can't find any info anywhere! Besides actually engine size what is different? Are the frames different? Are the internals to the engine different in the 650? Any light shed on this would be very helpful!
- I have a 750 honda shadow american classic was out on a ride stopped to get gas got back on bike and nothing? The 750 Honda would not start the head lights are not coming on but the turn signal work and the horn had battery charged. Any ideas please this is a motor bike not a car
- I have a 1994 honda shadow vlx 600. I've been having charging issues? Could someone have put the positive and negative wires that connect to the battery on the wrong sides? All the batteries online look the same as this one and the cover on the bike only lets you slide it in one way (where the pos is on the right and the neg is on the left).
