How did the battery posts switch on my atv?
When i got the battery, the positive post was positive and the negative post was negative. Now, when i connect the charger, it just sparks like i have the positive and negative backwards. The charger is new and works as it should on other batteries. This battery, on my 1994 honda 300ex, now has a positive post that is negative and a negative post that is positive and works as it should. What's up with that?
Hey Bob… The larger diameter post or the one with the + is always positive! Someone was clueless and pretty frikin dumb!
Remove the battery and test it with a voltmeter
I knew no one would believe it, i'm not frikin dumb. I know the difference between + and - and they are backwards. Once they were not backwards and now they are. THEY WORK AS THEY SHOULD! But backwards. Tech, einstein, rocket scientist, it doesn't matter if you don't know the answer, then shut your mouth. I didn't ask for an insult.
- Why does my atv pull to the right? My Honda TRX250x 2013 pulls to the right. It doesn't really do it when i drive but i do a lot of wheelies when ever i have the 2 front tires up it slowly leans towards the right. Just wanna know why and if i cn fix it its very annoying when your on the road wheeling but the quad veers off to side. I've heard the tire pressure could be the reason? Please drop a comment really wanna get this fixed thanks for your time
- Which car battery is better? EverStart Maxx Lead or Duralast Gold/Battery? Facts: I drive a 2007 Honda SE, 4 cylinder. Been using a Kirkland (costco battery; group size 51r) for about 5 years. Looking for a battery in case this one dies.
- Weird whistling noise coming from my ATV engine? So i have a honda 250ex, and today whenever i would give it gas, i would here a strange whistling noise coming from the cylinder block in the engine. When in neutral the sound was not heard. I never heard this sound before and it made me a little nervous. Just wondering if there's a problem with it or if i need to replace something.
- Will a Atv rear shock work on a motorcycle as a rear shock? So I have a 1984 Honda vf700s, which has a shot 17.5" rear shock. I found this shock http://www.ebay.com/...1405356646 and I love the red spring i'm just curious if it would serve well as a bike shock. And If so would it be suitable in terms of riding.
