How many parts does Asimo the robot have? A car is about 35,000?

asimo is a fully functioning independent AI robot capable of almost any task a human can perform. Honda has developed this advanced robot and it functions very well. I can't find any infrmation on how many parts it takes to build one.
Don't be too amazed by this piece of kit. It must be programmed to perform these tasks. However, it's walking capabilities are impressive. Saw it on QI on BBC TV in the UK, it is a line follower, they had lines on the floor for it to follow. Its a really good promotional tool for Honda, they got their name on the BBC which is not supposed to advertise.
At least a couple of thousand, even though the outer shell (arms, etc.) reduces the appearance - for example to function properly each finger JOINT has got to have 10 or a dozen parts in terms of actuator, hinge pins, cables, return springs, and so on. The lower arm has got to have at least a couple of dozen parts inside to make it work.
That doesn't seem like that many to me. If you use a less complicated design that is more powerful, you could reduce the number of parts by about one half or more. Hydrolics would do this. But 2000 for the whole robot means that it is 13 times less parts, and that takes less time to assemble, n to that japan will invade or nothn, but there are items like tvs and such that are small that ppl can assemble, i wonder if a comprable device could be timed to fig out how fast an assembly line couopd opump them out would be. I bet robotic assembly could make about 4000 a day at a plant. Especially with a hydrolic sys and shell. The brain would simply be inserted. Hydrolics would make it extremely simpl and fast. No doubt someone has tried, they make huge ones with hydrolics.
- Would you purchase a 2004 Honda pilot for $6,000.000 that has 216,000 miles on it? I'm just browsing online looking at cars for sale and a lot of them have 200k or more miles on them and they want $4,000 or more. Why do people sale their cars for such a high price with a lot of miles on them? Its not just Hondas its all types of cars private and dealers as well
- I have a 1983 Honda shadow 500 and I have a couple options for a parts bike? So I was wondering what bikes would be best, obviously another 1983 Honda shadow 500 would be best but could I use a 750? Or another year?
- How many years from the year the motorcycle was built should you hold onto it before the parts become too expensive For example I was interested in buying a 2006 Honda CBR600f4i until I looked up the price of the fairing pieces. Just a small piece of the fairing was over $600. Of course they charge that price because they want you to buy a new motorcycle.
- How many miles to a gallon does my car have? I have a 2004 Honda Civic LX. It's a pre-owned sedan-style. Not sure what engine it has. I think it has about 10-11 gallons in it.
