How to connect my phone to my car?

My mom just bought a used mini van ( Honda) I don't know what year. It has a screen where you can control the ac and some other stuff but the radio it's below. It doesn't have a place to put the aux chord or to put a tape, only CDs can be put. I really don't like to drive without music and I hate listening to radio stations.

Since it's not your vehicle, get a wireless FM transmitter. You plug your music device in them and they transmit to a vacant spot in the radio's receiver. It basically acts as a mini radio station. K-Mart, Sears, Best Buy and eBay have them, and they're cheap. Usually under $20. Some need their own batteries and some plug into the cigarette lighter for power. Stay away from ones with a remote control.
An FM Modulator would be another option if this were your car, since it requires installation.

Sounds like a newer Odyssey. Are you certain there's no auxiliary input jack? Honda likes to hide them down below the radio, possibly inside a compartment. Is there an "aux" button on the radio unit? Does the van have any rear seat video option? If so, there might be an A/V input in the rear that could be adapted for use with a phone or MP3 player.

I'll just bet there's a book in the glove box that explains all the nifty features of your "new" car. You should read it and see if there's any connections available.

Look for an FM transmitter. It will plug into the headphone jack of your phone and it outputs a Radio transmission on one of the unused frequencies of your radio. Then you tune your radio to the station the transmitter is on and you have the music from your phone in the car without taking anything apart.
