How to fix wide puncture in tubeless tire?

My Honda activa s Tubeless tire has a bit wide puncture. Tire shop suggests to insert a tube in it and use. Is that the only option other than changing the tire itself?

If you value your life replace the tire. The tire shop guys should be shot.

Their suggestion is extremely dangerous and in many places illegal. You can't use tubes in tubeless tyres.

The only sensible and safe option is to replace the tyre.

That is not a viable suggestion. Tubes do not work in tubeless tires. The tube would shift and move causing the tire to not be able to be balanced properly. Simply highly unsafe. Don't do your business with those idiots any longer.

  • Punctured tire replacement - can I replace only 1 tire - is it safe to replace the PUNCTURED tire only? My 2005 Honda Pilot rear left tire was punctured near the threshhold (ie - sidewall), but still usable. Thus the tire dealer patched it only. Should I replace that punctured tire only? Or should I replace the 2 tires on the same axle? Or even buy a whole set of 4 tires? I'm concerned about safety, and thus your best advice is very appreciated.
  • I need some plans for a 15x20 Shed. ( 15 Wide 20 long )? I need the shed to keep 3 3 Wheelers ( 2 Honda ATC 200x's And Honda ATC 250sx And 2 Dirt bike KX 125 and a KX 80 ) I also need to have enough room for a Tool Box and needs to be tall enough for extra storage space under the roof in the form of a small loft for engines and other junk. Would Perfer Metal Roof and a Wooden Frame. Would like it to be a little bit off ground but not much. Give me whatever you got so can bounce ideas off of it.
  • Can you put harley wide glide forks on a honda shadow ace 1100? Both forks are 41mm. I'm trying to put a 21" front tire on the bike and I'm weighing my options on what I should do. If the forks can set into the triple tree with not much problem Luke only having to make shims then that's the way to go.
  • Can a 4 stroke dirtbike be ran wide open? Ok, so I have a Honda CR 85 (bored out to a 100) and A Honda CRF 100. I was just wondering if the CRF could be ran wide open in its top gear? Its a stupid question but yeah. I know 2 strokes can like my CR but 4 strokes are made more for off road so I was just wondering.
