Can you put harley wide glide forks on a honda shadow ace 1100?

Both forks are 41mm. I'm trying to put a 21" front tire on the bike and I'm weighing my options on what I should do. If the forks can set into the triple tree with not much problem Luke only having to make shims then that's the way to go.

The "easy" way to put new forks on a bike is to replace the whole assembly and have the stem machined/spaced to allow the Harley yokes/triple tree to fit to the Honda frame, then swap some of the controls over.

My guess is that someone has tried this before I would lurk on an owner club website and ask the question if it has not already been addressed.

Few issues…

What wheel are you planning on using?

Assume you are wanting to run a HD hub and rotors laced to 21 inch rim with wide glide front end, axle, and brakes.

So… Brakes. Going to run a Honda master cylinder and HD calipers?

What about bars and remaining controls?

Have to get all that sorted out.

Might be easier to lace up a 21" rim to a Honda hub and retain the Honda brakes, trees, bars, controls, etc.
