If power steering is whining very noticeably, but not really leaking that much, should I chance it by adding Lucas stop leak to my pump?

I have purchased the "Stop Leak" by Lucas as well as the regular p.s. Pump fluid made by Lucas (that says that it is adaptable to ALL p.s. Systems, even Hondas). And have read the online reviews for both products on Amazon, and have some saying that the thick fluid of the "Stop leak" cause their steering system to blow, whereas most say that it works great and stopped the leak. But since I don't really have much of a leak (if it is leaking it is doing it very slowly), but have a noticeable whine noise… Should I chance it or not"? Why?

Added (1). I just want the whine to go away

Fix the problem, don't use stop-gap "fixes"

IS it leaking? If not, don't use the stop leak. If it is leaking, stop leak won't fix it. At best it will slow the leak down, so you should just fix whatever is leaking (the pump, the hoses, or the steering rack). If you're using it to try to cure the noise, you can try it but you're probably wasting your time and money. What you need to do is fix the leaks first if there are any. Then completely flush the system and bleed all the air from it. If the pump still whines a bit, but there are no steering issues and no leaks, stop worrying and just drive it. Be sure the belt isn't too tight.
