Is it realistic to live in your car?

I would buy a a motor-home, but even
then you need $2,000/month to live on.

I can get a used Honda, teach English
online and live on $1,000/month. Advice Please

Honda is realistic

Who learns English online from some random person who never was a teacher?

Depends where you live. People working at ski areas in the winter have been known to live in their vehicles because of the high cost of accommodation. It's likely not very nice. Invest in a good sleeping bag.

Might be the victim of crime

You may try this but you probably will find that the lack of running water is a major setback to this kind of living. Also, it will be a lonely lifestyle, and you will have to make up stories to tell people why you don't have an address.

I would highly recommend a van or a van RV. It makes life so much easier to have a toilet, a shower, running clean water and a table with outlets and even a TV if you have good receptiom where you are. The insurance on old RVs are MUCH cheaper than your car. I paid 200 a year for mine, the insurance companies make it cheap if you live in it and don't drive it a lot.

I lived in a 20 foot RV for a year. It was pretty nice. I used a scooter to get around because I could keep it on the back of my RV but it still went 60 miles per hour (they're extremely good on gas, 90mpg) A car would just be too tough. I say get an RV.
